Factory Goes Green
BMW is making news for its attempt to reduce its carbon footprint by utilizing sustainable energy methods to manufacture its cars and in an advanced energy option the company has set up one of its South Carolina plants with a huge series of solar panels that offer the company over two hundred watts of energy each. The advanced manufacturing and pallet racking systems already in use by the company have also been formulated in such a way to ensure full efficiency in the overall production process and it would appear that BMW is continuing to look into more methods for reduced power consumption.
